Zafika had fully expected a reaction like this, and this was still a very mild reaction to have, but it didn't remove the fact that it was always a hassle trying to convince people that they weren't going to hurt them. Even without knowing that they were an assassin, if people heard that they're an ex-convict, their immediate thoughts tended to be that they were dangerous and violent.
