I can’t accept an offer that’s less than the whole population. Or at least-“ she cuts herself off before she can finish her thought. ‘At least everyone that all the knights and the Princess consider family’ was what she almost said, and she had meant it too. But that’s not something she should admit just yet.
“At least- let me think about it. Or make me a better offer,” she finishes, trying to cover for her earlier falter.
