Gails ears went to "annoyed horse" position when Garrot laughs, even when it's a short while. It sounded condescending and that just made Gail feel bad. He gripped his water bottle tighter when Garrot spoke, trying to hold himself together.

"If you're going to make fun of me first of all I've heard worse and I just rather not deal with that. I'd appericiate if you didn't do that at all, call me a spoilsport if you want." Gail said more bitterly than he meant. Garrot may or may not struck a nerve there.

"I'm just trying my best here. If it's not enough..." Gail bit his lip to stop the sentance there. No use going too deep or personal with this trail of thought.
