"I'll be careful," he says, standing up on the rock so he's quite a bit taller then he normally is. It gives him an easier step up, even if it's still a bit of a hop. He sets his hands carefully just behind Gail's hips, and jumps, just enough to swing a leg over him. And I mean, it's not the most graceful thing in the world, but he didn't fall at least.

He doesn't move into riding position immediately though, petting curiously at the hair along Gail's flank. "I've never ridden," a horse, "a, uh, centaur before. You're so tall," he says, and he sounds delighted and awed.
