They get a moment to wonder what exactly Gyre is planning, and when he suddenly reaches up with his hand, they almost flinch back before he stops them by grabbing them by the back of their neck. And then he kisses them, and while it's quick right now, it's enough for their mind to blank for a moment, while their pupils dilate a little and their tail moves to wrap around Gyre's middle once more.

As he rests his forehead against theirs, their eyes study his, and while the compliments and closeness bring an embarrassed blush on their cheeks, right now they wouldn't change this for anything. Especially not when Gyre kisses them again, and they feel like they could just melt. Which is exactly what they do, as they lean into the kiss and start to purr, their eyes closing and they fully let Gyre take the lead.
