"But?" he signs almost instantly. He's surprised once again, this time that Seth gave the facade up so quickly. He's seen these people hold on to those sorts of facades for months, even years, but his had crumbled so fast. This is better. He'd rather speak honestly then try to dance around whatever Seth was keeping in his head.
