Having someone else admit to an injury works wonders on Rory. Zafika had been hurt before too, and here they were, so calm and collected and with a lot of experience under their belt. It reminds her she doesn't have to be infallible. She's allowed to make mistakes, as long as no one else gets hurt and she gets out of this alive - which she will, she's sure of it.
