"You'll need everyone's help if that's what you want." He keeps his voice gentle when he says it, but it's definitely intended as a bit of a reminder. Garrot can say he'll look out for himself most of all, but Gyre has heard him say that he wants to protect everyone even if it means putting himself in danger.

That's the only thing he'll say to push the issue though, settling his hand on the other's shoulder so he can lean on him a little. The contact is casual for him, Garrot's shoulder an obvious place to put his hand after rubbing his back. If he's tense at all, it's only because of how heavy this conversation has gotten, not because of the very close contact.
