Haizea succeeds at exactly one (1) thing: Getting the monster's attention. The bat bounces off of its form harmlessly, as if it were just a leaf floating through the air. But at her calling it ugly? Well, rude.

It turns its eyes down to her, its mass shifting slightly... and then it starts rapidly advancing on Haizea. It works up a surprising amount of speed, spindly legs carrying it forward towards her. It uh... it's not slowing down, either, it fully intends to stampede over her and stab her with its spines. Time to kill a knight!
