When Terrence starts to heal her, she’s actually surprised at how much it hurts and lets out a low hiss despite herself. ‘Ah, fuck,’ she thinks, she’d been trying so hard to show no sign of pain. But before she can dwell on it too much, she finds herself overcome with exhaustion. It’s not unlike earlier, when she’d collapsed after using lightning, except this exhaustion is in both her body and mind.
“W...” she tries to speak, but finds she’s lost the energy to do even that. As her eyelids lose the ability to stay open, she feels a jolt of panic as she realizes what’s about to happen; she’s going to pass out. She’s going to pass out and become completely vulnerable in front of people she wants to respect her, people she’s already begun to think of as comrades.
‘This sucks,’ is her last coherent thought before she loses consciousness completely.
