He sees that scar on her palm as she checks him out, and Garrot is... curious, to say the least. So much so that he almost wants to ask, but instead just listens as Haizea talks about everything she things she did wrong. Garrot doesn't like this, doesn't like seeing someone so cool just tear herself down like that. So the next time her fist opens, his hands claps around it.
"You still dropped the lightning, Zea." He breathes out quickly, and then keeps going. "You're still doing damage. You're still alive, so what's it matter?!" It's only then that he realizes he was raising his voice a little, though it wasn't obvious from the din of the the crowds around them. So he lets go, turning a little red in the face. He didn't even ask if that was okay, and-
"All I did was walk in after the fact and clean up." He rolls his eyes, just as displeased with his progress so far. "With Terrence's healing, we don't even need me around!" Garrot is, of course, forgetting his many contributions already. It looks like they're both having some trouble rising to the heroic occasion!
