Garrot's arm doesn't even get to touch them, because Zafika is taking several steps away from the table -and through that, Garrot- all on their own accord, that snarl is, giving them a bad feeling about what's to come. For a good reason apparently too, because then Garrot yells and there's another of him too as he punches at the table with a strength that leaves a third of the table dangling over the floor, and while the rest of them manages to remain controlled, their head flinches to the side as they close their eyes, they don't want splinters in them, no matter how much they right now hate the power in their eyes.
And then they open their eyes again and he's yelling, and they force their tail to remain behind them instead of curling around their leg, their hands squeezing at the sleeves of their sweater as they just, look just a little bit towards the floor, they can't make themselves look at Garrot directly. Just like he said, this isn't like what happened with the Wizard, yet this manages to be worse. Because the anger is directed at them, and rightfully so, meaning they don't get to try and defend themselves, there's nothing they could even say to make it any better. They hurt him, they deserve whatever he's going to do now.
And oh are they ever so glad about their poker face, because as Garrot tells them what it felt like to be petrified, they once again feel sick to their stomach. They know exactly what Basilisks' petrifying does, hell, they even know what few of those things feel like, despite being immune to the actual petrifying power. And because they know what it does and know what few of those things feel, they're feeling like the worst person alive right now, they've never wanted to hurt Garrot, and now to him it seems like they tried to kill him. Why wouldn't he think that, with everything he knows about them.
However, the threat about wanting to break their neck? Normally, at this point, hearing the threat would mean that they're about to be dead, but there are no hands grabbing them, so they just look at the clone Garrot that had said that, right before Garrot Prime makes it disappear, and they turn to look at him instead. And he just confirms what his clone had said, and it doesn't feel like a punch in the gut, it feels deserved. At this point? Hell, they'd let him do that. They feel like they deserve it.
