Poor Terrence is only given a few minutes of silence before Matilda wakes and immediately realizes something is very, very wrong. In Goldilocks terms, this bed is much too hard, and when Matilda wakes with a start and tries to get up out of bed, she finds herself very much zipped into a mummy sleeping bag. She struggles, with the intensity of a rich bitch who's never slept in a sleeping bag before, and the zipper seems to be stuck, so she's just an angry freckled cocoon-worm, sitting up and flailing around, making loud awful sleeping bag rustles as she tries to escape.
