The doctor just grins, clenching his fists and raising them to the sky in vindication. People who are excited for his ideas are his favorite types of people period, and Terrence gets double points because they can patch each other up if something goes hilariously wrong!
"Is there a deadline for that, or is that a standing offer?" They've been time-travelling all day, Garrot has no idea if they'll even have a chance to breathe tonight, let alone get hot and heavy. And then, as he makes his way next to Terrence, he keeps going on a clear tangent. "Xaljim, can you make a giant, flat, smooth shield like before? We're gonna use it to slide down into... that flowerbed." There's a moment, and suddenly a large, square shield exists as a makeshift slide ending in a flower patch across the street.
"'Cause I mean, it might be safer if you climb on me now and ride me all the way down." Garrot knows how that sounds, and he's just accepted it. "I mean, I can make sure nothing goes wrong and, uh," he points to the clone who has just been following them around politely, "he can make sure you have a soft impact?" Sure, the conversation has ascended into a realm of absurdity, but Garrot's legitimately just trying to keep the guy safe. Just because they're doing something crazy doesn't mean they have to be dangerous about it!
