If there's two things that are certain about this situation it's: 1) The monster wants to kill both of these knights and 2) Fire Extinguisher foam is delicious when consumed. The monster is making weird licking noises with its half-tongue as it works to consume the foam it's being coated with. Its long arms are even taking some of the foam and shoving it into its mouth over and over again.

And then Garrot slices into its side. A moment later he's bashing the spear to pop the monster's head off or at least scramble it like an egg. Good news first: The monster's head is horribly sliced up, yellow gunk pouring out of its half-mouth, half-head. Whatever was in there has definitely been messed up and it's leaking out of just about everything and mixing with the foam around it.

The area begins to smell like petrichor, sulfur, strawberries, and spoiled fish.

The bad news: Six of the monster's arms whip around to grab the shaft of the spear, they grip hold of it and don't let go. They aren't letting Garrot just take back this action he'd tried and now they're starting to advance towards him while trying to hold the spear in place to minimize the damage he could continue doing to it.

But the gooped messes of yellow on the ground confirm he'd already done some damage at least.
