Zafika's plan goes off without a hitch. The monster goes rigid as the flickering light appears, its attention fully on counterattacking this new threat. But a moment later, the world goes white and the monster's balance is immediately thrown off. It topples backwards, limbs going slack and releasing the weapons. All of its eyes are glazed-over white as it slumps on the ground. A moment later its arms shift up to rub at its eyes once. Twice. Again. Again.
