Just as the momentum of the first hand speeding towards Luka is quelled, he feels the second one coming on. He heeds Rory's words and jumps back, simultaneously to the side, hoping to dodge the blow and praying there weren't any dangerous obstacles in that direction. As he lands, his hand makes contact with the earth again, and Luka feels the distinct, white-hot energy beneath them.

He steps backwards, gaining a slight distance on the monster before he focuses and raises one hand in it's direction.

"Don't stay close to it. I'm going to attack it, and I don't know exactly what's going to happen."
