Zafika sees the look of disbelief, and then there's that noise, and you know, it's something they've heard so many times as a kid, coming from their mothers, so there's this little tightening feeling in their chest at the nostalgia of it. Because no matter who does it, it sounds so familiar every time.
Familiar enough to distract them from Garrot saying they exploded, at least long enough until he's suddenly there, or, well, two of him, piled on each other's shoulders, and it's almost annoying that only two of him is enough to reach beyond the branch they're crouched on. "Exploded? I... okay? I don't know how that could have happened, all just faded to white for me..."
All the sniffling Garrot is doing helps with their decision on how to come down from this tree, plus the fact that the pile of Garrots is much more stable this time. Their tail leaves the tree trunk, and instead starts snaking around the Balancing Act Garrot's middle, for some support before they come down, and it's the first time in few days that there isn't any of that awkwardness stopping them from touching him. "Okay, I'm trusting you to not drop me then."
They shift their position so they're sitting on the branch, facing Garrot fully and carefully start sliding off of it, slow enough for him to catch them without a problem. Because, as good as they are, if they suddenly fall they'll just drop like a sack of potatoes, but also might drag Balancing Act Garrot down with them since their tail is wrapped around his middle.
