Seth looks like a dead man walking when he finally arrives after a lot of running around only to end up reluctantly going to check what had become of his...puppets...because he couldn't in the end resist the emotional pull to do that. He'd found only Marion and Abigail had survived intact, all the others were in various states of dismantlement. He couldn't decide whether to be grief struck or relieved.
Normally he would have wanted to stay as far away from the wizard as possible, but right now...he doesn't have the emotional resources to really be afraid. Besides there's promise of breakfast and he really has no idea where else he could get breakfast. So (late) breakfast with the wizard it was.
