If he decides to take the bait and look, he'll miss her silently getting up from her chair to go over to him and move all of his plates around quickly. She rearranges his entire breakfast setup before moving back to sit in her chair.

She does cheat and use magic so she's fast enough to not get caught by him looking back, but she definitely walked over herself to do it. But all he'll know is he looked away from the table and then looked back on the table and all his stuff was moved around.
