The bellowing question gives Zafika the tiniest heart attack, but there's not really much of a reaction except them twitching a little before they glance back at Garrot quickly. They want to correct him that they actually never said they don't want to be alone, but decide against it.

"I'm not actually going to leave you behind... just... please tell me if I don't notice myself that I'm doing that... getting separated is one of the stupidest things we could do right now." 'One of' because they're pretty sure there's other stupid things that they could do here.

That doesn't mean they're not going to try and do their best to avoid tight gaps Garrot can't fit through. It's easy enough, for now, but they don't know how much more challenging the terrain is going to get the higher up the mountain they get. "So, no worries, I'm not planning to dump you here on the mountain to get lost." Hopefully that comes across as a joke, even if the humour could be bit dark.
