"Is it really a favor though?" Luka purses his lips, half in disappointment, half in frustration.

"Fine." He sighs. "I suppose your defeat is the only thing I can't buy on my own anyway, right? Can we at least make a show of it when the time comes?"

Luka leans back in his chair. He hopes the Protector is faring as well as he can be given the situation, but being unable to communicate with him discreetly has left Luka in the dark for now.
