It's not so much the actual movement Terrence makes that matters so much as it is the meaning behind it all, as he places his face not even two inches away from the Protector's, holding him by the collar with a free hand, knocking both of their drinks to the floor of the otherwise pristine teahouse.

Acting uncharacteristically didn't worth with the Wizard, it didn't work with who he thought was one of her Knights, and it's not working now with the Protector. He has nowhere else to go but straight forward.
