"Something like that," he muses softly before snorting, almost amused. "Now that I've met him, I agree. You know, with a crowd there watching, he gave a speech about how I was a traitor, like... like it was a movie for him." Not that he's seen a lot of movies, but the ones he has were filled with that sort of pointed, obvious dialogue. He can only hope Luka gets what he means.

"But when we were alone, he was going to stab me in the back rather then let that crowd see me get a doctor for you," he says, and he watches Luka's face. They can exchange information after this. He needs to know more about the Protector first.

"That sort of a man never has enough of glory," he says, a low, knowing rasp in his voice. He's met this type of person before and he them then too.
