“I couldn’t imagine what he’d say if we walked up with you.” Luka laughs to himself imagining the ridiculousness of the scenario. “He’d probably call the whole thing off.”

His hands wander to his side, feeling for the case he had set down earlier. He pulls an acoustic guitar from it, it’s body worn and well loved.

“My first one. I learned to play on this thing. When I first got it, it was practically too big to fit in my lap.” Luka says with pride. “I can’t bring myself to get rid of it.”

“Do you know how to play?” He asks as he turns a tuning key, strumming lightly between his adjustments.
