Terrence nods, considering her words. The only two monsters he'd been directly involved with defeating so far hadn't said a word, and both attacked first. He thinks back to seeing Ten protect the Wizard's unconscious body this morning. Teeth aside, that wasn't a monster - it was a frightened child.
"None of them have ever been able to give a good enough reason for it after the fact," he replies thoughtfully. It's not a condemnation, but a genuine lack of understanding laced with the very same kind of compassion they're projecting on past Wizard Kinghts. "I can understand hesitating when being forced to kill, but there had to be a damn good reason they'd risk the end of the world. Not that we'll ever get to know it I guess, heh."
