Gyre makes a short, amused sound, grinning at them. He doesn't know exactly what they said, but he can get the gist of it anyway. This is working for now, he supposes.

"I've never seen any of them eat one before. I don't think you're supposed to," he says, thoughtfully looking around the room. This, of course, reminds him of exactly where he is, and a little shiver rushes down his spine. He shakes his head, looking back to Sxicq and trying to focus on them alone again.

"Sorry, uh... you're... magic, right?"
