Gyre sits almost as suddenly as he stood, taking a deep breath. He still looks tense, but decidedly less so then when they were lighting things on fire.

Then they're speaking at him and he can see the suspicious in his voice. He softens slightly, not sure what he did wrong. He opens his mouth to say so, to try to figure out what they need, but he's interrupted by Fen beginning to wake up beside him.

He sets a hand on their head quickly, bending closer to look them over, murmuring, "I didn't mean to wake you, Fen. Are you alright?" He checks on them with a few gentle touches, looking up to Sxicq after a second.

"I don't know what you said. Do you want me to take that?" he asks, reaching forward to take? the plate??
