Gyre doesn't understand emoji still. He knows the one Luka told him about, but he definitely spends several seconds staring blankly at Ten's screen. He shakes his head after a moment though, hoping that the symbol isn't super important for him to understand.

"Hm... I'll make sure they're all alive then," he says like this is the easiest thing in the world. His mouth thins into a hard, concerned line after that though, his voice getting quieter, more focused.

"What does losing mean, in this case?"
