Haizea had been sat at a nearby cafe, sipping on some coffee when she hears the welcome van come zipping down the street, playing a a tune like an ice cream truck. She starts to make her way over to it when she notices that Gyre, of all people, has beaten her to it.

"It's sweet," Haizea pipes up, notcing his baffled expression as she walks up to the van to get her own funnel cake. "Like a doughnut. I like powdered sugar only on mine, thanks," she says to the folks in the van with a wink before they give her the funnel cake.

She walks up to Gyre and pulls a noodly bit of fried dough off her cake. "You really never seen one of these before?"
