The Protector keeps his stern gaze on Garrot even as he begins talking about defeating the twelfth. He only waits until Luka chimes in too that he turns towards him and nods.

"The crossbow will strike your enemies true." He begins, narrowing his eyes at Garrot.

"I trust that we will not be betrayed. I do not wish this crossbow to be used against a knight." He says, calmly looking over the teacup in his hands.
