"Twelve bodies, hmm," Terrence thinks for a moment, settling into the wooden chair that is presumably Ten's. If he's going to get comfortable, he might as well pick one of the comfier-looking chairs, but also one that doesn't have anything else in it and isn't caked in dust! "...Any twelve bodies, then, between both the knights and yourselves?"

That would make sense, he supposes. That way even if all of the Knights survived or were completely wiped out on the first day, unlikely as both scenarios were, there'd still be enough while not going over on either side. If you're trying to control the situation, after all, you'd want to cover all possibilities while also not adding any more variables than absolutely necessary.

But maybe he's misunderstanding..? That's the problem with being clever without being a genius - you can't help but work on assumptions that may not end up being correct.
