The fish were not small, that was... a true statement. Ten's gaze lingers on the water for several moments considering what Luka had said. But he decides to let it rest, gaze turning back to Luka now that he's sat down. He doesn't join the Princess on the bench, instead staying on his feet.

"They did. The plan is for this to be the last year. Then we all get to go free. It has a lot of moving parts." He starts to explain, pausing for a moment.
