Gyre watches this exchange with a decidedly curious eye, continuing to pat about Fen's head. It's not until Twelve starts to fade out of existence that he even thinks about interfering, shouting, "Wait!"

But then she's gone anyway, and he frown deeply at the space where she was. Is she going to come back? Why would she just disappear like that? His attention snaps to Five in much the same way Twelve's had, and he stares at her for a second.

"What's going on?"
