Luka gives a noise of affirmation in response. He's surprised at Gyre's tender touch - as though he were the one who needed to be comforted - but Luka leans into it, briefly, nonetheless.

"We'll have our work cut out for us." He nods. "A new world is going to be a lot for everyone to accept, but them especially. But they'll be free to do whatever they want there. And the Wizard..."

He trails off, recalling the Wizard's plans for her own fate. It was an incredibly loaded topic, one that felt far out of Luka's depth, but he wants to be optimistic about it at least for Gyre's sake.

"She'll be there too." Luka says, bringing his now freed hand to Gyre's shoulder in a reassuring pat. "Like you said, there's no need for anyone else to die in the name of all of this."
