Should Gyre have aired his concerns about the new world then, he’d have found that Luka was feeling much the same. It was an understandable anxiety to have - uprooting everything anyone’s ever known and relocating to an entirely new, unknown environment was nothing if not incredibly daunting. Luka would be surprised, though, to know that Gyre felt that way. He’d always thought of the man as very adaptable, based on what he knew of his lifestyle.

“They’re both difficult like that.” Luka confirms, thinking of the Protector’s vague and esoteric nature. “If the Wizard ends up there with us or not though, we’ll at least make sure everyone knows the truth about her. We’ll tell them and they’ll listen.”

He had no concern about making the truth widely known. Luka did have easy access to a massive audience who would be receptive to what he had to say, and who deserved the truth whether or not they were ready to believe it.
