Gyre realizes he has made a mistake about a millisecond before Garrot whips around. He clings to him, first to keep the other stable while he swings his head around, and then because he's being yanked around. He stumbles over himself, yelping as he's dragged into the cane which catches his feet so that he's nearly collapsed by the time Garrot has stopped.

He struggles back up to his feet, hovering beside this drugged man who's decided to stoop down low like that. He honestly doubts Garrot could get back up if he actually started begging on his knees.

"You can beg later, when you're not about to fall over," he says, fully in parent mode despite the teasing just a moment ago.
