"Oh." Luka accepts the explanation, for now. He supposes it makes sense. Gyre had rejected the offered lodgings and Luka can't remember spending any significant time indoors around him. Luckily for Gyre, he's quickly distracted by ascending the stairs before he has any chance to probe further.

"See anywhere that looks like the right place?" He asks when they reach the landing. "It feels weird just exploring a house when no one's home. I hope we're not interrupting something."
