"We won't have to kill them, if that's what you're afraid of." Luka replies without missing a beat. "It's the easiest solution, yeah, but not the only one."

Luka thinks about the Protector talking about 'locking up' Gyre and what that might have meant. It wasn't a pleasant notion, coming from the same person who'd sealed Sxicq away in the mountain. He quickly decides he doesn't want to dwell on it for a second longer.

"I think that's what everyone wants. I think even the Protector is convincible... we just don't have as much time as would be necessary."
