The presence of Gyre's shield does serve to ease Luka's tension, though he hasn't felt in danger despite Twelve's nightmarish form and posturing. It was nonetheless a reassurance to know that Gyre would defend him should she decide to strike.

Her answer was frustrating. Eight's addition helped - a little - but both the monsters words were vague and borderline nonsensical.
