Gyre is quiet again for a beat, listening to all these answers and watching Luka. He's trying to figure out if the princess is just as confused as he is with all this. He forces himself to scooch a little closer along this weirdly shaped core so he can actually hear what the princess is murmuring, settling a little closer beside him.

"It sounds like it's broken. Maybe that's why it can't uh, chart anything?" he proposes softly, chewing his lip for a moment.
