"Wins?!" He actually shrieks this word. He can't believe Garrot can imagine anyone winning in this scenario, much less the Wizard. It's been forty years of suffering. Nobody wins this and the idea is so maddening, he just starts uh ranting.
"What if! What if your plan doesn't work! How can you possibly think the plan you came up with in a week is better than theirs?" He is trying so hard not to claw at himself, or leap across this room to punch Garrot in the face. The dude is suffering, but still, the pure arrogance of this man never ceases to completely astonish him. He thinks back to the talk Garrot just gave, and he suddenly feels even worse.
