"I'm not--" he starts, immediately denying the assumption Garrot just made. He wants to clarify if the man truly does not understand what he's saying, but instead, Garrot interrupts him. Like he always does when he's decided he knows exactly what's going on. Gyre closes his mouth and grits his teeth hard, going absolutely silent. Letting this fucking man monologue at him.

Much like the last time Garrot went off on him after failing to listen, Gyre gets more and more angry with him as he goes, nearly giving off heat as he glares furiously up at him. His whole body is tensed, his hands clenched tight. For just a moment, his knuckles unfold, but only long enough for him to clench them even harder. He reaches this absolute fever pitch, an anger so intense he actually has no idea what to do with it.

And then it just ices over. His eyes go cold, and while he doesn't lose any tension in his body, he stops leaning forward like he's a split second from leaping at him. There's a heavy beat of silence here after Garrot plays the Dead Dad Card, Gyre expression remaining exactly the same.

Then all at once, he makes his eyes real big, switching to a soft, simpering tense of Amarosian normally used to speak to direct superiors. It's the tense his COs demanded from him, and he uses it with an deep, dry sarcasm. "γ€ŠWhen you do talk to them, maybe please consider for a moment whether you should ask a prisoner to stay in their prison for your comfort, ~please~?》"

And just as suddenly as he switched, his expression darkens again. He finishes with a sharp, terse snap, "γ€ŠNo one's keeping you here. Fuck off.》"
