Seven definitely has lungs, they just know how to not drown in soup. But now they have a new bowl to wait for bubbles out of so they're back to focusing almost exclusively on that with their eyes.

"Am there. But past before. The beginning." They reiterate, pausing for a moment as their body makes another forceful gurgle. They'll... probably be throwing up another black blob soon, that sound seems higher in their body. As if timed perfectly, there's an audible bubbling from Luka's bowl as a bubble rises and attaches itself to his spoon.

"Yes, permanent." They agree with Luka, confirming his suspicions. This would, indeed, be a mission of learning. Though the heroes didn't know it yet, they would have a lot of freedom to gather information.
