Luka's nodding along at Eight's reply. This all made sense to him. He could ask Nine to come along and let her know Eight suggested it - easy.

But his confidence wanes when Eight's next reply completely debunks the conclusion he and Gyre had just come to. Apparently, knowing someone for near forty years or so doesn't always mean you completely understand each other.
