"Does he now?" Eleven follows Luka's statement with some amusement. Does that mean they know what Eight is going to ask Luka? Or does that mean they're amused by the idea of Eight and Luka speaking? They don't elaborate about which they mean. But then Gyre goes and brings that entire skeleton out of the closet and--

"I interrupted what I now realize was an attempt to break free." They say at first, before pausing and deciding to add the more morbid part of the story:

"By killing the two who bound them."
