Gyre sighs softly at that last bit, folding his arms and tapping nervously at his elbow. He knows they're angry, but he's still desperately hoping they can all come out of this alive somehow. The last thing he wants is to free the lot of them only to have Sxiqc strike the Wizard and the Protector dead.

"They were able to work with the Wizard earlier today though, right?" He purses his lips slightly, adding after a beat, "Maybe they'll listen if you tell them it was a mistake?"
