Luka tries to recount all his pieced-together information regarding how everything went, and will go, down. A lot of the finer details were beyond him.

"Wait, why do you say it 'would have' been instantly destroyed?" He asks. "They're out now, aren't they? And the planet's all in one piece, ah, sort of."

I mean, the cracks and stuff aren't doing Luka's argument any favors, but the planet's solid enough that everyone's not dead, right?
