As Gyre speaks to Eleven and descends the stairs, Eleven holds up one of their hands with an index finger extended to silently say 'wait.' They don't look up from their novel just yet, apparently engrossed in what the current page's story.

About thirty seconds later, they reach into their front pocket to pull out a pressed flower that they slip into the book's pages as they snap it closed.

"Gyre. How may I help you?" They ask, settling their eyes on him. As they do, Gyre might notice a faint blue glow in their eyes. Was that always there?
