Day 1 - Morning
Morning: 06:00am - 12:00noon
[ IRL Timeframe: February 18th - February 25th, 2019 ]The day begins quietly, with no indications that anything strange could occur today. The Princess and the Knights have all arrived on the island. Maybe you arrived a few days ago or maybe you just got off your red-eye flight before the sun came up. Everyone's on Harsen Island and so is the Wizard.
Things start simpler for Luka Eutychia, Olivia Walkyr, and Rory Honeycomb. The instant they set foot on the island, Olivia and Rory will both get an image of Luka in their heads and realize that they are the good-allured knights and he's the Princess. Luka, meanwhile, will see both Olivia and Rory in his thoughts and realize they're the good allured knights.
The Weather

Prompts:
- 6:00am: It's the early morning celebration van! In all three towns, someone's driving around a vehicle playing blaring music and shouting "Let's go Knights! Let's go Princess! Beat that Wizard!". Seems like someone wants the heroes to succeed, hopefully your characters weren't sleeping. If you confront them, maybe they'll have something to say?
- 8:00am: Far Haven: All Knights and the Princess are invited to a big breakfast banquet. Come one, come all! Maybe meet some of the locals? Maybe chat with your fellow heroes? All knights are given lanyards, but the princess gets a lanyard and a crown if he's here, and they're all seated at the big hero table.
- 9:30am: Bamborough: All Knights and the Princess are invited to an oceanside brunch! Wether they live in Bamborough or they live elsewhere and visited here, they're welcome to eat the brunch and participate in waterfront games. Thank the resort owner for this welcome! Or chat it up with your fellow heroes by the water. By now everyone should be full.
- 11:00am: Craydon: Craydon's welcome is much more modest, the locals have invited the Princess and his knights to the local Multipurpose Center. They've set out a spread of light appetizers, chips and dips, vegetables and spreads, fresh breads and cheeses, modest drinks. It's the least extravagant of the welcomes but the locals are still here to meet and greet everyone. With a smile and a handshake they wish everyone the best of luck. How are you and your fellow heroes holding up with all this attention? Did you skip all these events? Attend all of them?
- 11:30am: The Wizard (Year 40 She/Her/Hers) strides in to the Craydon Multipurpose Center with her hands in her pockets and casually looks around the room with a gentle smile on her face and huge bags under her eyes. Her eyes are black with cyan sparkles in them, looking very much like outer space itself as she scans the room and everyone in it. Good luck for anyone here, they get first dibs on seeing the Wizard. She'll be shuffling around the multipurpose center in her light blue pajamas and bunny slippers, occasionally adjusting her tiny glasses as she looks around. At least she's got her wizard hat on so no one could miss what she looks like this year. It's a shocking difference from the big muscled dude (Year 39 He/Him/His) she was last year or the slick suit-wearing smooth talker (Year 38 They/Them/Theirs) they were the year before but it's still absolutely the same wizard.
Procedure::
Reply to the appropriate toplevel comments for events below. Indicate if a post is a private conversation with "Private" in the subject otherwise all threads should be open to interaction with others. Plan OOCly how you'd like to toss everyone around. Several simultaneous wizard conversations can exist in the replies, she's going to stick around to talk to everyone. Feel free to OOCly decide what order they spoke in or leave it a mystery.

"I'm glad and...you're welcome. I carry a lot of flowers around in a magitech device in my bag...I like flower language so...I like to give them to people. And while I guess it's true it's sort of a natural reaction...it still kind of stings right? I mean I..."
He sighed before letting the robotic voice continue.
"I've...been on the receiving end of people's judgementality pretty often...and it hurts. And I don't want to hurt people. I...I'm admittedly still kind of scared but...I should and want to still give you a chance. It'd be really rude and hypocritical of me to judge you based on what other people say about you...or on the fact you were in prison before coming here."

"Flower language huh... it's definitely interesting, I haven't had a chance to study it myself... but, really, it's alright, anyone would react like that. I'm used to it by now, you're not the first to be scared of me. It's okay."
Upon Seth explaining that he's been judged by others a lot too, and it's why he doesn't want to do it himself, they understand his insistency on apologising for it. "I see... I, understand why you don't want to judge others... and I'm glad you're willing to give me a chance. I appreciate it."

"I'm pretty used to people thinking I'm weird by it still hurts."
He's quiet for a moment, fiddling with his shirt, before typing again.
"Is it okay for me to stay here for a while and...well...talk with you? I don't really feel like going back to the center of the party right now...and I think it'd be good to learn more about my fellow knight."

"But, you can stay here, I need to go try to talk to the other knights at some point, I promised Muraj that I would try to meet them all, so I can't chat with you for too long. But, for now I can stay with you." They hope their offer is good enough, as they do have to try and keep their promise to the snake zodiac.

"Yeah I understand. For now is enough. Though you might change your mind about me being weird...once you hear about my hobby and about my friends."
He's a bit reluctant to reveal that but, well, Zafika had revealed they were an ex-convict so...

"I doubt your hobby or friends would be the type that would make me think you're weird. I've been around the world a lot, I've seen many weird things already."

"How about meeting a guy who loves making puppets and dolls, converses with them just like with real people, helps them find entertainment around the house, let's one of them claim the bed 80% of the time, listens to their opinions and considers them his friends?"
There was admittedly quite a bit of snark, even with how monotone the robotic voice was, mainly due to the fact that he'd grown rather bitter over all the things people found him weird or creepy for.

They were able to hear the slight snark in the words, even with the robotic voice being monotone, and they could understand Seth being bitter over this.
"It's a hobby of yours that isn't hurting anyone else, I don't think others should have the right to judge that."

Gaped at Zafika. Rather openly at that. Their reaction wasn't anything at all like how he'd imagined. He'd expected shock, disgust, awkwardness...anything but just...straight up acceptance.
Though in his defense he had never, ever, received that before from anyone, at the very least not on the bit how he considered his puppets real friends and treated them just like other people. And no matter hard he tried, he couldn't hear a hint of a lie, even though he had become an expert in hearing if people's words weren't what the actually meant.
Before he even realized it there were a few tears running down his cheeks.
He wasn't sad of course, far from it, he had never felt more happy or relieved as he did for the moment.
When he realized he was crying, he tried to wipe them and stop them while typing with the other hand, not that it served to be of too much use.
"I...Thank you. I, I really thought...you'd find it weird or creepy or something I've...never had everyone just...accept it. As something they might not understand... but is dear and important to me..."
He admittedly had to sniffle a little, but he was honestly beaming, or as close to it as he could get, an actual decent smile on his face.

He did end up sniffling a few more times but eventually managed to stop the tears from falling, still smiling.
"Thank you...really. Hearing you say that, it's...I'm really happy. Really, really happy. I'm glad I come over to talk with you. Ex-convict or not...you seem like a pretty nice guy, at least to me..."
Seth pondered for a moment before picking up Abigail and holding them in one hand while using the other to type.
"I should probably get going soon, try to talk to a few of the other knights even if it's scary...but before I go...maybe...I could introduce you to Abigail?"

At a mention of introducing them to Abigail, their curiosity is once again piqued. "Abigail? Are they one of your friends? And, oh, right, you can introduce me to them, at least quickly. We'll have more time to talk later, I'm sure of that."

"Yeah. She's been with me since the beginning. She's the first one I ever made...it kind of shows I guess but...since she was the first I don't want to upgrade her like I do with Marion, one of my other long time friends. She's the only one I could bring with me to the parties since I could only fit one of my smaller friends into my bag and she goes everywhere with me. She's really sweet...she doesn't really talk much unlike some of my other friends, but she's really good at comforting me. It's just sort of in her presence I guess."

"Well, in that case... it's very nice to meet you, Abigail. I'm glad to hear you've been doing such an amazing job at supporting Seth so far." They even offer their hand for Abigail to shake, and since they're the one initiating the gesture they don't have to worry about trying to blindly find her hand.

If Zafika were to take a peek at Seth's face they'd see him having the most adorable and happy expression on his face.
"Abigail says she's really happy to meet you too!"

Alright, maybe meeting the other knighst wouldn't be too bad, so far the beachside brunch had gone pretty well actually.

"Hey, I think I'll actually go see if I can find one of the other Knights to talk to, even if it's still a bit scary. Thanks for chatting with me...I honestly really enjoyed this, efter the inital rather awkward start. I'm not sure where you're located but I'm staying at a house near the center of the town here in Bamborough, I keep all the curtains drawn mostly so that's something to look out for, or puppets if I have them open to let the flowers get some light. Feel free to drop by if you want, I could introduce you to my other friends."

"Alright, good luck. I'll try to talk to some of them too in just a bit. But... okay, I'll come visit you here, I promise. I wouldn't mind getting to meet the rest of your friends."

And then after taking a deep breath off he went to brave the crowds again.
